Safety Groups Team Up To Stop Work Site Deaths

Construction sites are among the most dangerous places to work, and in Jacksonville, Fl., the number of injuries and fatalities resulting from construction site falls is the highest in the nation. As a result, OSHA and the Northeast Florida Safety Council have joined forces to teach employees and employers safety measures to prevent these kinds of accidents. OSHA does require that construction companies use fall prevention systems, but many companies ignore using this equipment, or don’t rig them up correctly.
