Safety First: Stretching Become Priority For Construction Workers


Everyday in the workplace, as many as twelve people die and many of those fatalities happen in the construction industry. Swedish construction company, Skanska Corporation, is taking a proactive approach to their construction sites safety programs, and one such site in Washington requires that workers start the day with a routine of stretching and calisthenics the help lower the incidents of work related injuries.

Some of the worse injuries or fatalities happen when workers fall from high places, so Skanska also takes time training workers how to prevent these types of serious injuries. Prevention is key to providing a safe construction zone. Watch the video below.
