Charity, Construction Industry Join to Aid Soldiers in Need

What do construction companies and an organization called The Wounded Warrior Project have in common? They both deal in rebuilding – one deals in brick and mortar structures, and the latter is concerned with rebuilding lives. The Wounded Warrior Project has been helping wounded veterans, since September 11th, 2001, acclimate into civilian lives through various programs targeted for the specific concerns and challenges veterans face, including disabilities and post traumatic stress disorder.

Many construction companies have taken a keen interest in The Wounded Warrior Project, by either donating money, or sponsoring events that raise funds for the program. Most importantly however; is the fact that a group of construction employers and industry associations have pledged to hire 100,000 veterans over the next five years. Veterans are loyal and dedicated to their cause, and these kind of employees are a benefit to any company; you can read more about The Wounded Warrior Project, and how the construction industry is contributing by clicking here…
